End of Year Summary from ESF PA

Details
Published: 31 July 2019 31 July 2019

Dear Parents,

We wanted to share the many projects led and sponsored by the Parents' Association in the last few months. First off, our new logo was launched in the spring and we updated our brochure. Read more about the process here. We also ended the school term with a thank you gift for all teachers and staff. Over 400 mini cupcakes were hand delivered to lounges as a token of parent appreciation and were very well received. We also put together transition gifts for the pre-primary classes entering the primary cycle which were presented at a ceremony on June 27th.

The annual Summerfest broke records in terms of attendance and was a success. As our school grows, so do the financial and organisational responsibilities from the PA side. For this reason, we plan to review and make recommendations on how to better execute an event of this size and scope for 2020.

Other projects you have made possible include Ipads for Primary and Pre-Primary, laptops for secondary, playground equipment for primary and much more .... All these projects are financed directly by your membership dues.

In the fall we will kick off the school year with a welcome coffee for new parents on September 17th at 8:30 am in the secondary canteen. Our Annual General Assembly will take place on October 17th in the Aula. Please save the date to mix and mingle with other parents and to learn more about how we support you and your children throughout the year with a wide range of issues such as Brexit, the new marking system, local teacher recruitment, mindfulness & stress management workshops. Your presence ensures your vote in shaping the future of the PA board.

Until then, we wish you all a relaxing summer vacation.

Your Parents' Association
