The Parents’ Association supports the family-life balance of our members by offering services like Childminding, Afternoon Activities, School Buses and Holiday Camps via our subsidiary EuroKids gGmbH. We represent the voice of all ESF Parents in a variety of committees and support the school on everything that happens outside the classroom and contributes to the school community.

This year a new online platform will be used for the first time for the marking the Baccalaureate papers. Interparents has been following the project right from the start, trying to ensure that all risks related to its implementation are identified and addressed.
The Baccalaureate Unit at the Office of Secretary General of the European Schools is starting a series of Newsletters aimed at informing all the European School community of relevant issues concerning the European Baccalaureate. In the first issue you will find information about online correction.
Moreover, on 6 February the four European Schools from Brussels held a joint Baccalaureate Conference. We invite you to watch the webcast (the title ‘Bac Reform’ is somewhat misleading).

The Parents Association is happy to announce that the next holiday camps will enjoy a fully school environment in the Modular Building.
On the PA premises new containers for hosting our regular childcare activity will be installed during the Easter and May holidays and the city of Frankfurt plans to build a Sports Hall for Secondary pupils during the 2017 Summer break.
Due to the above construction works the Easter, May and Summer holiday camps will take place in the Modular Building instead of our PA premises.
By virtue of the close collaboration between the PA and the ESF we would like to inform you that overheating of the Modular Building on warm days as well as other logistic aspects will be completely resolved.
For more information about our holiday camps please visit the “Holiday Activities” page on this website.
We look forward to welcoming your children in our new holiday camps location!

We are extending our support for the ESF community by opening a new section on this website where we will post various resources that may help you to better fulfil the difficult and sometimes ungrateful role of being a parent. The idea is to share materials on many subjects we all need to deal with on a daily basis: how to communicate successfully with our children, how to support those who suffer from anxiety, how to instil self-esteem, how to motivate the child, how to recognise an eating disorder... We appreciate your feedback and suggestions for other materials.
We hope that with your support this section will grow into a rich multilingual library, for the benefit of all parents and children at the ESF.

2017 began with an inspection of the educational support program. Prior to the Inspectors’ visit, the Parents’ Association asked you to share your experiences with educational support received by your children. We would like to thank you for replying to the survey, especially taking into consideration the time constraints. Without disclosing individual problems, the summary of received comments was passed to the Inspectors as well as the ESF Directors.
