we have received requests for host families from four students - all girls - who would like to visit S5 at ESF September-December 2018, and who are looking for host families.
Please have a look at their profiles here - accessible to logged-in members only - and consider allowing them into your families to profit from this unique opportunity.
If you are not a member of the Parents' Association, but a parent of an ESF student, you can contact office@esfparents.org and request the students' motivation letters.

The European School Frankfurt (ESF) Secondary Cycle and the Parents Association (PA) invite parents to an info session on
“Guiding your child on a path to a unique and meaningful life”
Wednesday, 11 April at 17:30 in the Cinema room (C5.02) of the ECB main building.
We want our children to be “successful” adults, but how do we define and measure “success”?
Most parents would agree that they would like their children to become responsible, independent, motivated, and self-reliant adults who will lead a meaningful life. However, each child’s individual potentials and challenges cannot be addressed by a single formula or defined goal. How can we advise and guide our children to be able to negotiate their own paths without getting in the way? How do we help them to explore passions and develop their talents? How do we engage them in the conversation of defining their own successes and meaning in life?

Einstieg Frankfurt - die Berufswahlmesse
Ausbildung oder Studium? Handwerk oder Handel? Frankfurt oder Frankreich? Alle Schüler müssen sich früher oder später die Frage stellen „Was kommt nach dem Schulabschluss?“. Deshalb heißt es sich orientieren, informieren und beraten lassen. Auf der Ausbildungs- und Studienmesse Einstieg Frankfurt stellen rund 140 Aussteller ihre Ausbildungs- und Studiengänge sowie Gap Year-Angebote vor. Im Bewerbungsforum geben Experten Tipps zur Bewerbung und zum Lebenslauf. Schüler können ihre mitgebrachten Bewerbungsmappen überprüfen und ein kostenloses Bewerbungsfoto machen lassen. Für Eltern gibt es am Messesamstag ein spezielles Vortragsprogramm für die Unterstützung ihres Kinder beim Berufswahlprozess.
