Activity Description
Children use all the means and tools of what makes theater from the minute they wake up until we tuck them in bed. Therefore they are the original actors and life is their stage.
We are going to use those tools, of fantasy and improvisation, dancing and singing, speech and gesturing to learn how to follow the rules of play, our place in space and time and respect for our team for the best possible outcome of our work together.
We are going to acquaint ourselves with the principles of the most democratic art expression.
This course will focus on musical aspects in theater.
Introducing the Teacher
Ioli Georgila has studied Theater Science and Theater Pedagogy in Greece, has had several seminars on acting, studies of classical piano and singing. She has been professionally active on stage and behind the camera as well as behind stage and production. She has years of experience working with young children.
