Activity Description

Group Guitar M1, M2 & P1 is an introduction to guitar playing for young students aged 4 – 6. In this course children explore music and different ways of expressing themselves by playing, singing, experimenting and composing with the guitar. In small groups of 2 to 3, children benefit from much individual attention from the tutor, while enjoying close interaction with their peers. The basic techniques of guitar playing are acquired playfully and fine motor skills develop along the way.

Introducing the Teacher

Leila Gudlin is a guitarist, guitar teacher and musicologist. She obtained her master degrees in guitar and music education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and holds a PhD degree in music studies from the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She has been teaching guitar to children and teenagers for over fifteen years and loves sparking their interest in guitar and music.
