ESF Solidarity Declaration with "Action Day" in Brussels
Frankfurt am Main, 12 April 2011
The administrative staff, the pupils, the teachers and the parents of the ESF would like to express their solidarity with today's protests in Brussels, organised against the projected cuts in the spending for the European Schools. We would like to state our own concern about these cuts which threaten to influence the quality of education provided by the European Schools.
We also reiterate our commitment to continue monitoring the situation very closely and to co-operate, with our respective counterparts in the system, in order to prevent developments which could have adverse consequences on the European schooling system as we define it today.
