Recap of 12th Annual General Assembly of the ESF Parents Association
The 12th Annual Assembly of the Parents Association took place in the ESF aula on 24 November 2011.
All PA board members who were present provided brief presentations of their respective areas of responsibility: special highlights were the successful introduction of a school bus line, as well as the relocation of the "PA Container Village" to the new site opposite the school, which went remarkably smoothly and was executed in time.
The PA board was discharged - all members present were in favour. Several modifications of the statutes of the association were approved.
Two members of the PA board, whose 2 year terms had ended - Graf Felix von Walderdorff and Dr. Vlaho Kostov - were reelected.
Ms. Geraldina Santandrea, Mr. Tony Obisesan and Mr. Karl-Heinz Endres joined the PA board as new members.
All votes for election and for re-election of candidates were in favour.
The previous board members congratulate the reelected and the new board board members and wishes them all the best and success in their future roles in the Parents Association.
Last but not least, the Board of the PA would like to thank all helpers (Ms. Crockford, Hausmeister, Security) and our staff members for the great support, and we would like to thank all members who attended the PA for their interest and their patience !

2011 Annual General Assembly (AGM) of the ESF Parents Association + Special Sale of “ESF Fashion Shop” on 24 November 2011
The AGM of the Association will be held in the Aula of the ESF on Thursday, 24 November 2011.

Formal proceedings will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The PA Board will present achievements of the past school year and offer an outlook upon the current year.
Due to two recent departures from the PA Board, we are looking for members who would like to join the PA board.

At this stage, you do not have to decide which are you want to focus on, as the distribution of responsabilities among the board members will be decided only after the AGM. However, we would especially appreciate applications from members who are interested in taking over responsibility in the following areas:
- Afternoon Activities
- Events
- SWALS (Students Without A Language Section)
- Libraries and
- Secondary Pedagogical Committee (Italian Section).
Moreover, we would highly appreciate to receive applications from parents in the English Language Section of Secondary, as this constituency is currently not directly represented on the PA board.
From 7:00 p.m. onwards, the Parents Association will put ESF-branded clothing on sale – members of the Parents Association who attend the AGM will receive a special discount on this evening.
